The ‘Zones of Regulation’ are about trying to ensure students have the skills to regulate their emotions to maximise their learning. Each class has a ‘Zones of Regulation’ area which explains the emotions they might be feeling gives strategies which can support our students to regulate their emotions and support their learning.

In addition to this, the ‘Zones of Regulations’ also contains a “Sensory Toolbox” equipped with a number of sensory tools that can support the students and their sensory needs.

All students at Clifton Springs Primary School are explicitly taught about these concepts and practice the strategies taught to them.
