Parents and Community
Partnership with Parents and Carers
When teachers recognise the role of parents and carers as first educators and engage them in school learning programs, students are more likely to experience an inclusive education within and beyond the classroom.

Parents and the community are an integral part of our success as a school.
As a parent or community member you can be positively involved in our school in a number of ways including; School Council, School Council sub-committees, Parents & Friends Club, classroom volunteers, canteen, excursion assistance or sport coaching just to name a few.
If you want to support our school but are not sure what you can do, please give our school office a call and they will be able to help you out. We understand that many of our families have two working parents and this can make it difficult to volunteer for events during the school day. However, there are a huge range of ways that families can support our school. We are constantly on the look out for parents with specific skills that we need, people who can give some time outside of school hours and the list goes on. We look forward to hearing from you soon and helping you to find a way of supporting our school community.
