Hi everyone at CSPS, we are Student Representative Council (SRC) reps Molly and Arch and we are from 5/6C. It is our turn to share what is going on in the SRC.
Even though there are many things happening in the SRC we would like to share some of the main ones with you.
We hope you enjoyed the Big Write this term. The SRC have brainstormed lots of ideas and the half buried box was the first one. I hope everyone used their imagination to do their best writing.
Our SRC blog is up and running, which you can check out on the school website, but for now here are some very exciting things that are happening.
We thought since it’s winter we should update our uniform and we are hoping to add school beanies. If you have any ideas please don’t be shy and tell one of your SRC reps. We would really appreciate any ideas from you.
We are also trying to add a new senior bike shed. Our school is growing and our bike shed just isn’t big enough for all of us. So our current bike shed will become the junior bike shed (Prep-Year 2) and our new bike shed will become Years 3-6. This will hopefully make more students ride and will be safer for the students to have more room. Part of this will be paid by a footy day were you wear your footy team’s colours. If you decide to wear your footy colours you can support the new bike shed by bringing a gold coin donation. We will have more information about that later this term.
At some point we will be adding 12 steel benches all around the school. The SRC have brainstormed where they may go and will now work with Paul to get them in.
Also, Mr McCredden has collected the song ideas we all had for bell music and these will be changed soon.
